DescriptionThe reading for this assignment will focus your efforts on four policy and procedure areas where your performance as a manager will help you build an effective team. Policies and procedures are tools to help us build our team members, protect their rights, and at the same time protect the enterprise. Many managers avoid administering policies and procedures but this inevitably leads to more problems and complications. The rule of thumb is that if you ignore an issue with a team member, it will escalate into a major confrontation. Your job is to insure that things do not get out of hand by addressing in a coaching framework issues as they arise. Administering these policies and procedures should always be done within the context of what you have learned leading up to this module. You will have one assignment on this module helping to leave you time to work on your final project which follows. Outcomes
